Will my race bib be posted?

All race packs are to be collected within the event village on your chosen race day. Full details on how to collect your race pack will be included in the event guide which is emailed to you a week before the event.

Can I sign up on the day?

This will be dependent on the capcity of the event and pre race sing ups. We advise entering online ahead of the event to avoid disapointment. 

Will there be a bag drop?

Yes, there will be an informal baggage drop area for you to leave any belongings with our marshals during the race. 

 

Please be aware anything left is at your own risk and we would advise keeping valuable items with you or leaving them at home. 

Will there be toilets and changing facilities?

There will be toilet facilities and a changing area at all events within the Womens Run Series.

Can my friends and family come to watch?

Friends and family are welcome to come and support their runners and the Women’s Run Series however please bear in mind that this is an opportunity to provide a truly safe space for women to run. With that in mind, the start and finish area will be exclusive to participants and any supporters will be asked to use the spectator zones and meeting point to show their support.

Will we get medals?

Yes, there will be medals available to all participants at each event within the series regardless of your finish time.

Each event within the series will also have a unique medal design. 

Will there be a water station?

There will be a water station on each lap of the course available to all runners. If you need any additional fuelling we recommend bringing this with you. 

Will there be official race photos?

We will have a race photographer on the course and all photos will be made available on the website following the event. 

 

If you do not wish to have your photo taken or be published anywhere please contact us ahead of the event via [email protected]. Please also let the team at the race pack collections know when arriving at the event. 

Can my name and results be kept private and not published online?

Of course. If you wish to have your name and or results kept off any public listings please contact us via [email protected] ahead of the event. 

Is there a cut off time?

There is no cut off time for the events within the Womens Run Series and we welcome runners and run walkers of all abilities to join us.

Is there an age limit?

The minimum age to participate in the 5k distance is 11 years old, the 10k distance is 15 years old and the half marathon is 17 years old.

If I am unable to run can I defer my entry?

Yes. If for any reason you are unable to take part, whether this is through injury, pregnancy or any other reason please send our team an email at [email protected] and we will happily defer your entry to a later date or transfer the place to a friend.

Can I wear headphones?

You are welcome to wear headphones. However, if you do please keep the volume low or have one ear free of obstruction for the durartion of the event to ensure you remain alert to any marshal inctructions.

Can Transgender women participate?

Yes, this race is inclusive of transgender women.
