Race packs, bag drop, medals, age limits, deferrals and everything else you might be wondering.
Will my race bib be posted?
All race packs are collected within the event village on your chosen race day. Full details on how to collect your race pack are included in the event guide, emailed to you a week before the event.
Can I sign up on the day?
This depends on the capacity of the event and pre-race sign-ups. We advise entering online ahead of the event to avoid disappointment.
Will there be a bag drop?
Yes. There is an informal baggage drop area where you can leave belongings with our marshals during the race. Anything left is at your own risk, so keep valuables with you or leave them at home.
Will there be toilets and changing facilities?
There are toilet facilities and a changing area at every event within the Women’s Run Series.
Can my friends and family come to watch?
Friends and family are welcome to come and support. Please bear in mind this is an opportunity to provide a truly safe space for women to run: the start and finish area is exclusive to participants and supporters are asked to use the spectator zones and meeting point.
Will we get medals?
Yes. Medals go to every participant at every event in the series regardless of finish time, and each event has its own unique medal design.
Will there be a water station?
There is a water station on each lap of the course. If you need additional fuelling we recommend bringing it with you.
Will there be official race photos?
We have a race photographer on the course and all photos are made available free after the event. If you would rather not be photographed or published, email us ahead of the event and let the team know at race pack collection.
Can my name and results be kept private?
Of course. If you would like your name or results kept off public listings, email us ahead of the event. If you don’t wish to have your photo taken we can accommodate this too, just make yourself known at the information tent on the day.
Is there a cut-off time?
There is no cut-off time at any Women’s Run Series event. Runners and run-walkers of all abilities are welcome.
Is there an age limit?
The minimum age is 11 for the 5K, 15 for the 10K and 17 for the Half Marathon.
If I am unable to run, can I defer my entry?
Yes. If for any reason you cannot take part, whether through injury, pregnancy or anything else, email our team and we will happily defer your entry to a later date or transfer the place to a friend.
Can I wear headphones?
You are welcome to wear headphones. Please keep the volume low or leave one ear free so you can hear marshal instructions.
Can transgender women participate?
Yes. Our races are inclusive of transgender women.
