An entirely female events team, here to open doors and break down the barriers that might have kept you from a start line before.
Our team is a diverse blend of running enthusiasts and seasoned event organisers. With countless race experiences, we are experts at event organising while understanding the journey of all runners. Whether you’re chasing a PB or completing your first race, you’re among friends who understand the exhilarating highs of completing an event.

Lucy is an experienced event organiser and race director. Having worked in the sporting events industry for 10 years she has managed hundreds of events across the UK. With her original love for sport coming from swimming Lucy has herself gone from complete novice to completing four marathons including three of the six marathon majors.
With a real passion for what sport and exercise can do for both your mental and physical health Lucy is proud and excited to be leading the delivery of this series and providing opportunities for more women to get active.

After being a PE teacher for 6 years, Katie pivoted into Event Management with RunThrough in March 2023 and hasn’t looked back! She prefers to run on the trails (and walk up the hills), whilst spending time with friends in nature. Katie enjoys using running to improve physical health, explore beautiful scenery, and connect with likeminded individuals.
She is keen to share the joy that running can bring with more women, of all ages, across the country.

Larren is passionate about making running a welcoming space for everyone. As the Social Media & Marketing Manager for the Women’s Run Series, she’s dedicated to celebrating runners of all backgrounds, abilities, and paces. A proud ‘back-of-the-pack’ runner, Larren is currently training for her first Marathon and knows firsthand the unique challenge (and rewards!) of every step.
Her mission is to help create an inclusive community where every runner feels encouraged and empowered, from start line to finish line and beyond, knowing they belong exactly as they are.

Charlotte has over a decade of experience in the events fundraising sector, working for charities of all sizes, on some of the UK’s most iconic running events. She brings a wealth of experience and enthusiasm, even though she’s more of a walker than a runner herself!
Charlotte is passionate about supporting each charity partner to maximise their impact, helping them raise the essential fundraising needed to fuel their incredible causes. She’ll be on hand to support all our charities, from marketing advice, stewardship journeys to making them all prepared for race days!

Emma is an experienced Account Manager and all round people person with a true passion for female empowerment. After being diagnosed with PCOS and endometriosis she saw the need to truly understand our bodies as women and found a love for weightlifting and exercise, not only for the physical benefits but the mental resilience too.
Now she’s committed to helping women take charge of their health and recognise their strength!
Jess has spent over 12 years in athletics and has turned her passion for women’s sport into a career in race organising. As Project Manager at Women’s Run Series, she’s passionate about creating safe, welcoming and inclusive spaces where women of all abilities and backgrounds can run.
A Sports Management graduate from Loughborough University, Jess has also researched the underrepresentation of women in sport, with a particular focus on running. She’s always up for a conversation about how we can make sport more inclusive and accessible.
Despite all her time in athletics, Jess is a sprinter at heart, so she has huge admiration for every woman who steps up to the start line of a Women’s Run Series race!
Emma has been a runner for over 13 years and has made it her mission to get more women to the start line. After creating her own social media platform, showcasing her training diary from new runner to marathoner and triathlete, she shares the ups and downs of being a woman in training. She wanted to show that women could dress up for race day and still perform well.
Emma has been within the events industry for over 7 years and has taken pride in members and the WRS. She continues to focus on community and work on building a group of women and non-binary people to come and race confidently with us!
As Marketing Manager, Kat brings the Women’s Run Series to life through engaging content and a genuine understanding of the running community. With a passion for sport and event-day storytelling, she loves capturing the energy, achievements and personal journeys that make every start line so special.
She is proud to champion a series that makes running feel welcoming and accessible, helping women of every background, ability and pace feel represented, supported and excited to get involved. For her, great marketing is about more than promoting an event. It is about building a community where every woman feels that she belongs.
Phoebe is an avid trail runner, outdoor enthusiast and passionate advocate for women in sport, always searching for her next adventure. She is committed to breaking down barriers and helping more women feel welcomed, represented and empowered to get active.
As Partnerships Executive for the Women’s Run Series, Phoebe connects the series with inspiring female-led and women-focused brands that share its values. Through meaningful partnerships and engaging activations, she helps build an inclusive community that celebrates and supports women in running.
Katie has spent over 20 years in the running world, starting out as a 400m track athlete, and over time worked up through all the distances and disciplines, to now find herself running ultras, trails and enjoying all things outdoors. The muddier and hillier the better!
As a lover of the outdoors and with a geography degree to suit, Katie is keen to break down the boundaries for women in the sometimes less glamorous side of trail and winter running. Her mission is to ensure all runners take enjoyment from being out, active and feel empowered by experiencing new challenges, and feel like they can safely participate whatever the occasion!
Laura began running regularly during lockdown and quickly fell in love with it, having grown up enjoying a variety of sports. For her, running is all about getting outdoors, feeling good and being part of a community. She’s currently getting ready to start training for her first marathon, London 2027, and already has her sights set on taking on her first trail race afterwards!
As Influencer Marketing Executive, Laura loves getting to chat with so many different people, from creators and athletes to run clubs and communities. She loves the strong community feel of the Women’s Run Series and being part of an event that creates such a positive space for women to come together, support and celebrate each other.
Her ideal way to start the weekend? A Saturday morning run followed by a coffee!
